Distractions

Good morning family! It’s such a blessing and absolute honor to get the opportunity to speak with you this morning. Something very disturbing and distracts hit me today that I really think I need to share with you. DISTRACTION! Look in your mirror! Look in your mirror right now. If you have no mirror close your phone off and look into the screen. Now! Reflect! What do you see? Is Christ all you see or are you missing it here or there?

Matthew 6:33-34 - 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Are you seeking first the Kingdom of God?

Do you look into the mirror and see only Jesus?

Matthew 22:37-39 - 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

1 Corinthians 7:35 - 35 I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.

Hebrews 12:1-3 - 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.[a] Because of the joy[b] awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people;[c] then you won’t become weary and give up.

We so need to look to Jesus. He came to disciple us. To teach us the discipline of faithfulness. Faithfulness is found in us when we combine our faith with sacrifice. Yes, sacrifice! I know this is where most of us lose it. This is where we struggle. No! Not always but enough that we get distracted. Enough we are knocked down a rung on the ladder. Enough we feel we are losing our way or we have to work our way back. No, no! These are lies and condemnations from the enemy. We are covered in His grace as we give it to Him. So “Let go and, Let God!”. We want to hang onto our failures and it distracts us from His fullness. Repent and it’s all God’s. Sounds self satisfying and selfish, huh? No, it’s as He has ask lay it at the foot of the cross and quit allowing life and things in it to distract you from the fulfillment of your call. God has a plan for you! So, get to it! Distractions are not ok! Rid yourself of allowing them to hinder your walk with Christ.

Father help us to not be distracted and to keep our eyes fully on you! I ask all in the holy precious beautiful gracious giving humble name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

Love others and Believe

Good morning family it’s such a blessing to get this opportunity again to speak with you all. I just want to say this morning, I Love You! I Believe in You! These four words say so much to a person. I love to receive them and even more I love to give them! God is soooo gooood. I love Jesus so much, He is so great to me and between Him and Holy Spirit I receive so much encouragement. This is what is bringing me to this word this morning.

How are you with those you work with?

Your boss?

Your employees?

Your fellow employees?

Custmmers?

How are you with your family?

Your husband/wife?

Sons/daughters?

Mom/Dad?

Grandparents?

Extended family?

Exodus 34:6-8 - The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out,

“Yahweh! The LORD!

The God of compassion and mercy!

I am slow to anger

and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.

I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.

I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.

But I do not excuse the guilty.

I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren;

the entire family is affected—

even children in the third and fourth generations.”

Moses immediately threw himself to the ground and worshiped.

God expresses His love for us here to Moses. He lets Moses know He forgives all you repent and ask forgiveness, but those that remain guilty call upon themselves and their families curses to come. When Jesus walked with the disciples He speaks to them saying this!

Matthew 22:37-40 - Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

So after all this I ask you are you lo your neighbor as yourself this morning? This week? This month? This year? Look in your mirror! How are you reflecting to others? Is Christ in your reflection? Are you expressing love to all you encounter?

I love you all and pray you receive nothing but love from this message today. I Believe in You! God Bless your Family, friends, loved ones and associates. See each of you soon.

Father help us express love for you above all else and spread that love to the world around us in all our actions taken. We ask all in the holy precious gracious mighty humble name above all others, Christ Jesus, Amen!

Receiving the Atonement in its Entirety

Good morning family! Its such a blessing to get the opportunity to speak with you all this absolutely beautiful morning. As I walked out of the house this morning before the sun was up It was so crisp and cool and felt so cool to the skin. I really enjoy this type of weather. Its such a blessing and such a reminder of the Lord and His Grace as it covers us each and everyday, even when we think we don't need it I think He knows better. We absolutely every single day need all He has to offer us. I start asking myself question after question and I think we should all look upon a reflection of who we are daily.

Are we waking and asking what to do you have for me this day Lord?

Are we asking "Who do you have for me to Minister to today?"

Are we looking to Jesus?

Are we actually looking?

Are we actually seeing Jesus?

Are we truly Receiving what Jesus is giving us?

Now I can't reiterate enough how deep you need to be thinking here. STOP! Yes, STOP! Reflect here. Are you receiving ALL of what Jesus has for you here? ALL! Salvation is just the beginning family. The beginning! The Atonement of Christ provides so much more.

The atonement is the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to help us overcome sin, adversity, and death. It took place in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross at Calvary.

The atonement provides:

Justification and forgiveness of sins

Healing & Complete Deliverance

Entire sanctification, which removes the inbred nature of sin and makes the saved individual pure and holy in heart and motive

The ability to become more and more like Jesus Christ

The ability to walk in the newness of life, as His sons and daughters

The ability to be filled with the pure love of Christ

The ability to be blessed with joy, happiness, and peace in this life and eternal life in the world to come

The atonement is a gift from God to humanity.

Atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify.

Atonement was for our complete freedom and deliverance of all worldly things.

Jesus is coming back and I believe He is coming soon. We need not get caught up in the when and where, pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib semantics of such things as Pastor stated yesterday. We need to be ready and receiving today! RIGHT NOW! We need to get off our horses and walk in complete humility with a humble spirit. Question, Question, Yes we need be to self, but learn who you are and approach the throne with humility and true repentance. Go to the Father with boldness and yeildedness, be willing to be led.

Father Help us to see you and to actually hear you in your entirety. Help us to know who you are and to know who we are in you. Help us to receive all you provided for us under the atonement for us, not just salvation. I ask all in the holy precious beautiful amazing gracious humble name above all other names, Christ Jesus, Amen!

Joy Through Trials

Good morning family it’s such a pleasure to get the opportunity to speak with you again this morning. The words of pastor Austin still ring in my ears and rattles my heart this morning. What do we need to do to “Grow by the Word”? What does this mean? God wants us to not set content with who we are and remain where we are. We should never be content where we are and never grow complacent. Yes, we all would love to be comfortable where we are at but Jesus said we would face trials, not might, but would.

John 16:33 NLT33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

As we see here in John, Jesus tells us we will have many trials and sorrows. Not might will!

James 1:2-4 NLT - Faith and Endurance 2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Perfect and complete needing nothing! Wow! Doesn’t that’s sound awesome? Of course it does, James says consider it an opportunity for great joy. Know that as we face difficulties of any kind we will have Jesus in our corner always. We will grow if we allow Him to grow in us through all difficulties. This will bring us joy.
I have come to a place in my walk that I think like this. If I’m content and comfortable I’m likely not following the will of God in my life, in my walk. I’m likely being disobedient in some way shape or form. I know Holy Spirit has been leading me for a good long while now to be seeking Him daily not just during a Bible study or church service.
Matthew 6:33 NLT Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
How do I seek but through the Word, I can’t know Jesus if I don’t know the Word. As I study the Word and as I develop my relationship with Jesus and God and Holy Spirit, I will grow in my understanding and I will increase in my prayer life. I will learn to pray without ceasing. I will walk in continual peace, especially when facing trials. I grow stronger in Him as I turn my back on this flesh more and more as I mature in Him. None of this is from comfort or contentment but from obedience to His calling on my life every single day and me replying with obedience, especially through trials and discomfort.
I have to learn from the leaders God has placed in my life and lead as Christ lead the church. I must walk in obedience. I must study constantly to show myself approved. I must listen and seek the Trinity in prayer daily. I must learn to discern His will in my walk and my life each and every day without thought of comfort, but in knowing He is my strength and He will bring me continual joy and peace.
Father help me to discern your voice amidst the chaos of this world. Help me to remain in your Word daily. Help me to continually grow in my relationships with you the Trinity individually and wholly as one. Show me each day your will in my life and help me to never forget to seek you out daily. I ask all in the holy precious beautiful gracious wonderful name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!
