Discernment over Ego

 5-11-26 Monday Morning Atheism

Good morning family I know it’s a bit Late in the day. I have had this on my heart since late last week. I got this over whelming feeling about the company we keep or allow around us and our families.

I know as a husband and wife we need to honor our spouses discernment in such situations.

Not their judgements but their discernment.

There is clearly a difference and you as a husband and you as a wife must be in-tune with Holy Spirit to know the difference.

If you’re not your simply in judgement of your spouse yourself.

Even in situations where it’s a bit touchy.

Even in situations that’s a bit of family.

Only way to stay in-tune is through taking time daily to be in the Word not monthly daily.

This was granted me through some discernment I was gifted and a friend was gifted. We need not knock ourselves as thinking we are crazy when a certain discernment comes upon us. We need to be on bended knees and giving thanks to God for the gift and seeking Holy Spirit clarity. We do need to know that we know. Holy Spirit will give us that as we seek Him.

I know that this is a certainty that I must share. I will stay this and some won’t like it but that’s ok seek Holy Spirit for your own clarity.

I know that when a person is, has, will, or does come into your life whether by family or friend if there’s a division or a dividing happening, that person must be set aside, or more bluntly cast out. No matter the discernment one has that we are to help a person causes a call from God on them. If the other isn’t feeling the same discernment and is feeling a need to part from them we must honor that fact and cast them out of this relationship. God’s Will, will always prevail, don’t be so arrogant that you think you’re the only one to help them.

We miss tings all the time but God always fulfills His plan, the next person will be there to get it done. So the arrogance of us thinking we are the one should never get in the way of creating a division in our relationships God has placed us in, essentially our marriages.

Husbands, Wives,

Listen to your spouses discernment.

Put your ego aside and listen.

Your relationship is more important than your ego.

God’s got this!

I will leave with these scriptures:

I love you all and pray you’re continually blessed this wonderful week.

May the Lord bless and keep us everyone. May the discernment given be received and graciously used. May we listen to our families in the discernment they have received as well. In the holy precious beautiful amazing name above all wonderful names, Christ Jesus, amen!

1 Corinthians 3:16-23 -  Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 17 God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

18 Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say,

“He traps the wise
in the snare of their own cleverness.”

20 And again,

“The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise;
    he knows they are worthless.”

21 So don’t boast about following a particular human leader. For everything belongs to you— 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Peter, or the world, or life and death, or the present and the future. Everything belongs to you, 23 and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

1 Corinthians 5:7 -  Get rid of the old “yeast” by removing this wicked person from among you. Then you will be like a fresh batch of dough made without yeast, which is what you really are. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.

Love

 3-10-26 Monday morning

Good morning family I’m so very pleased to give you this thought this morning. I’m troubled with the thought of child labor, slavery, & trafficking this morning. With this thought that hits me right in the heart, it reminds me of my main message point today of empathy and compassion, but more directly, LOVE!

We hear of these things happening more and more in our world but what’s even more horrific is it’s right next door. What are we doing about it? What are our actions to stop and prevent these horrible acts? I’m not suggesting we all drop our lives and stand at the Whitehorse with a sign. I am saying what options do we have at our fingertips that we can do right here and right now?

I’m reminded of scriptures here:

1 Corinthians13:1-3 - If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

1 John 4:8 - But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:16 - We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

John 13:35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

So, are we actually walking in love, living in love? Are we full of His love? Don’t let condemnation get you at this moment, no that’s the enemy’s work getting done. Rebuke that and receive God’s loving conviction in your heart instead. Step up and change the areas that need changing with guidance from Holy Spirit. I say all this for the simple fact that we knowingly can love even more on the people around us and those we encounter along with the ones that are encountered but those around us. Without love how can we truly minister the Word? I love you all have a great week.

Father we ask you to pour more and more of your love into us this morning and every day from here on. When we miss it please give it for us and help us to share your love across our nations. Please let your light shine through each of us to only glorify you Father. In the holy precious beautifully blessed name above all names Christ Jesus, amen!

Speaking, listening, thinking

God morning family. Its such a beautiful day, I'm as always honored to share with each of you this glorious day. God is great and I am blessed to have friends and associates like you all.

To get to the Monday morning thinking of God before all else, where are you this morning. I simply ask this simple question to arouse your heart and your mind towards Heaven. Pastor John brought up some solid reasoning we should all be thinking about on the largest of scales. Who is teaching you (us)? What things are you listening too not just now but since you were born. what are you listening to in your thinking, in you reasoning, in your logic? What are the saying that we lean towards to comfort you to give you guidance to give you direction or to make you sound righteous to those around you? Are you lifting the world around you or are you judging it and tearing it down? Are you lifting people in your mind and saying I'm just showing them God's love and loving on them and not actually helping the situation or the person? What part of Jesus are you showing the world around you? Is your dismissiveness biblical when you see the homeless guy or the hotel clerk or the fast-food worker who needs to bathe? I think on the the things people say in life "let go and let God" "the love of money is evil" "hate the sin, love the sinner" and so on and so on. These are only a couple of many WE SPEAK, WE HEAR AND WE BELIEVE WHOLLY. These are not scripture. the context can align with scripture sure but these words alone as a fix all or lean too isn't the Word of God. There is only one fix for this and that's actually knowing the Word of God personally. There is life and death in the Tonge: Proverbs 18:21 - 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. We all are guilty of speaking wrong scripture and wrong teaching when we have relied on the words of others and not the Word itself. I say this to get you to thinking about the loving conviction of Holy Spirit in your life as you listen, are you listening well? Are you hearing His Words are you paying attention, or are you simply relying on what YOU think or what OTHERS said, even your most trusted Spiritual leader? I leave with this a loving conviction is from your comforter and friend, a condemnation is wholly from the enemy. There is no condemnation in the Lord. How are you speaking and treating and even thinking about others you encounter in your daily walk? Listen and be in the Word. I love you all and pray this is an inspiration not a weight, lift others and be lifted.

Father in Heaven We come to you now in the blessed name above all names Christ Jesus. We simply ask you to help us to be in the Word more and to listen more intently with a focus strictly on you and you alone. Help us to lift others just as you have lifted us. In the Holy Humble Gracious Wonderful Amazing Name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

Honey

 2-23-26 Honey

Good day family it’s been quite a while since I posted these Monday morning atheism deterrent messages. I was asked and encouraged to continue through with them and shown how they were missed and by some needed. I too must have my continual reminders that speak to me in regard to my direction and my focus. So I pray this keeps you well and this serves as that deterrent in your lives to focus on Christ and not have an atheistic view starting the week out. I must say it’s truly a beautiful pleasure to get this opportunity to share with each of you. I pray you all are well and I relish in the opportunity that each of you have at this very moment to get to share in the Word with the people God has placed in your lives this day, and even more this week. That you Jesus for the love of sharing in your Word. I love you all and pray you spread the Word and encourage others to do the same.

My focus today has been a week long thought train in or around honey. As I looked more and more into it I seen that honey was a blessing to the sweet provision provided by God to His people when coming out of Egypt. Honey is spoken of as coming from the rock as Gods provision to His people in a time of need, but more so that it came from a place of solitude and a place of hardness or hardship as it were. A place that was impossible for any explanation other than God. A place to prove His love and His provision for His people. As I go deeper into the study of honey I see it as a fleshly desire. We crave the sweetness of honey in all things. Honey represented as the sins in life or of the flesh. In Leviticus God refused the burnt offerings of yeast or honey as a burnt offering to the Lord. God only wanted a sweet aroma in His burnt offers that were pure and unblemished by sin or any defilement. As we look into it we can see the scientific side that says honey causes a stink when burnt. Honey burns black and putrid. Honey as yeast is a fermenter of sorts, it leavens. Leavening is a state of defilement, it’s a corruption in  foods, through its rising its a deteriorating effect that is defiling its product. It is a decaying of the cells that begins a new growth. It’s a bacteria that grows exponentially. This is what sin does in our lives. This is why I believe God denied the offering of honey and yeast in His people’s offerings. He didn’t want His people to be corrupted by the defilement that honey or yeast (desire/sin) would bring. He had to leave his alters pure as Christ did on the cross. Just as Christ is pure so was His alters.

I go through all this to simply ask how is your alter? Is it pure and undefiled? Now remember Christ died for us to have an undefiled alter. You received your cleaned alter upon salvation, but are you keeping it cleansed? Are you allowing the enemy to take a seat at your table and corrupt your meal? Is the lamb tainted at your table? If so you’re setting at the wrong table. Only through the Word can we comprehend the need to walk in freedom and the continuing need to repent. Repentance is a must for believers that are seeking His face first. But what of grace? Is it sufficient? Absolutely it is and will always be, but it requires the acknowledgement of sin, the acknowledgement of humility needed by repentance sot by believes recognition of their lack of ability without Christ first and foremost. So, where is your heart? Are you repentant? Is your alter cleansed and pure? I pray my alter is prepped and prepared for Christ as He did for me on the cross.

Father I pray you help me to relieve myself of my personal desires and of sin before you in anything or any area of my life. I ask that you help me continue to evaluate my life and my thoughts and actions to eliminate anything in my life that isn’t of you. I pray you help me humble myself before you and keep my alter pure before you. I offer continued repentance for all I see and don’t see in my life. I ask that you lead me continually to you in the holy beautiful precious graceful name above all names Christ Jesus, amen!

Family have a beautifully blessed week.

4-1-24 Fear and Distraction

Good morning family it’s such a pleasure to get to speak with you all today. It’s such a peaceful day out. The calm before the storm if ya will. We all know the weather man says a storm is a coming. Are you prepared? Are you ready for the storm predicted? Are you simply just in a shock and stuck in fear? We can’t get caught and allow ourselves to live in fear. Fear can be crippling! Ask yourself where is your focus? Storm? Or Christ?

John 26:33 –

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

See Jesus has done the work, you need not work. You only need to submit. Yet we take our eye off the eternal prize, Christ. We see the storm and get crippled in fear. Or maybe it’s just as brother Greg said this morning in men’s group, “all we keep seeing is the flashing lights and they keep us distracted from the truth”. Jesus is the truth, the Word is the truth, Jesus is the Word! We ABSOLUTELY MUST STAY IN AND STAND ON THE WORD!

Psalms 28:7 –

Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Isaiah 12:2 –

See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”

These scriptures are just a couple of hundreds given, yes, given to you and me to lean on, and look to for strength so we aren’t caught in fear. Yea fear is crippling and the enemy knows our weaknesses and the traps that work on each of us. We simply need to wait on the Lord. He’s forever on time, and never late. He will come to us when we are finally ready. Get out of His way!

Isaiah 30:18 –

So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.

All the Lord wants for us is blessings and eternal life in heaven by His side. We are the bridegroom of Christ. Knowing this should be all we need to remain free and not get distracted with the flashing lights of this world.

Father thank you for your goodness and grace. Thank you for your willingness to wait on us. Thank you for your generous nature. Father, we turn from our fear and distracted sight and look to you. Plz help us to see you in everything we do and everywhere we go. In the amazing wonderful precious humble giving patient name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!

WHERE IS GOD? ON OR OFF?

Good  morning family it’s such a pleasure to get the opportunity to speak with you all again this week. I’m led to speak about our path and our decisions. Not just our life long decisions but our moment by moment decisions. Out daily paths, our minute by minute paths. How are you walking? Is the light of your life on?

John 8:12 - Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 - If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Jesus said,

John 9:4-5 - We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”

I use these scriptures and these next pictures as an example. Are you looking in life with the light of Jesus on or is He simply turned off at times?

Driving with Jesus on!

Driving with Jesus off!

Walking with Jesus light on!

Walking with His light off!

We each make the decision second by second, minute by minute, day by day, year after year. Do we walk with the Light of the World (Jesus) on or off in us? Walking with the Light on makes it so much easier to see where we are going, it makes it possible for the Father to be glorified. With Jesus light on in us it not only lights the path of our own walking but we help to light the paths of those we are around. Just like pastor Troy said yesterday about receiving the corporate anointing while at church rather than being alone. There is power in the gathering of the Father’s Light. WE ARE THAT LIGHT!

John 11:9-10 - Jesus replied, “There are twelve hours of daylight every day. During the day people can walk safely. They can see because they have the light of this world. But at night there is danger of stumbling because they have no light.”

We must grasp the knowledge of the kingdom and see we don’t need the light of the world to see but only the light of Jesus.  We need to receive the light of Christ and reject the light of the world. As Lazarus died in this world he could only be risen by Jesus. Without Jesus there truly is no light there is no life, the is only death, only Jesus can raise you up. Where is God?  ON OR OFF? YOU CHOOSE!

Father help me to never reject your light in my life each and every second, minute, hour, year after year. I know I can’t see it from a worldly perspective, but I know from your Word, I need you.  I need your light to light my path. I need the light of other believers to help me say lite. You are the way, the truth, and the life. Help me to continually keep my eyes on you! In the Holy precious amazing wonderful loving name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

Forgive us Father, Thank you Father

Good morning family I’m so very happy to have this opportunity to speak with you this beautiful morning. God is so great. I’m excited for the love in the air with friends & family who are sharing in a new born baby. My heart goes out to a sister & family who’s in a state of loss of a loved one. I look upon the world as we discussed in our men’s group this morning. 73,000,000 children put to death before even breathing their first breath every year. With the love and the dismay we are surrounded with. I call upon the words of Jesus on the cross, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”.

I look to the celebration of the life that’s brought into this world and the love it’s created in the lives involved. Such a blessing to behold of new life. Thank you Jesus for the love you have bestowed upon us.

I think of the loss we all encounter at times. Some in times of age and others in times of happenstance. Others in disease, others in situations of accidents or by choices made, all being in this broken world! I draw close to God in these times good and bad alike. He is our all. He is our provider, provider of faith, provider of Hope, provider of trust, provider of grace, provider of mercy, provider of comfort, provider of love.

We all must, not lean on our own understanding. This is a broken world. We must repent for this worlds wrong doings, for the churches wrong doings. The church, the body of Christ is just as guilty as the world. The more we look at it the more we see only the world in the the church. We don’t see the division in the world and church that Jesus spoke of. We are not of this world but of the kingdom of Heaven. Knowing this we must ask, do you see a difference in you and the world or are you actively seeking to be separate from the world and only be of Heaven? Are you repentant of the churches actions? Are we seeking to make disciples as Jesus showed us? Paul speaks of his hardships.

2 Corinthians 6:3-10 - We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry. In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense. We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors. We are ignored, even though we are well known. We live close to death, but we are still alive. We have been beaten, but we have not been killed. Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.

Father with all the love and glory you have for us in this world we ask that you help us to find ourselves walking in faith and in love in all we do. We ask that you help us to walk separate of the world. We ask that you show us where we need to be repentant for the church. We ask that you show us how to be disciple makers. We ask that you show us how to walk as Christ walked. father we ask all this in the presence beautiful amazing wonderful humble loving name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

Prayer Answered

Good Morning family! I'm so very glad to get this opportunity to speak with each of you today. I was at a loss as to where to go today with my word for you today, but Greg had such a profound point to share in men's group this morning that after a bit of time to reflect after our discussion, I feel I must share as well. Greg is a guy who loves to love on others and he expresses that through words and wisdom he receives from the Word daily, He's such a prayer warrior I look up to his example in this regard. His words today were a rarity, short and sweet, but oh, so profound. Look into them yourselves. Receive them and let them sink in before you wash them away. Truly Let them sink in. "GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!"

Genesis 25.21 - Isaac pleaded with the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children. The LORD answered Isaac’s prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant with twins.

Greg used this Scripture as his basis this morning and we can lean on so many to back this up. I always liked the the story of Daniel praying for 21 days. This one gives me strength. However, I think we need to start by leaning on a different understanding than that of our own.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT - Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Philippians 4:7 NLT - Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

This is the understanding that I think of when I think on my prayer life. I think of my conversations with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as My prayer life as well. I simply have a conversation with all or one of them to express my desires, my passions, my needs, the needs of those in my life, the needs of those I'm led to lift in prayer, and anything else the Lord places upon my heart to discuss. When I feel led to seek deeper and lack the words or the understanding needed. I lean on Holy Spirit to give guidance and wisdom. I turn over my tongue, body, and spirit to Him as needed. I simply yield to Holy Spirit.

I'm a man of more words than less and if your a person like me you understand me in this. My grandfather a pastor all my life growing up was a solid man of God and a spiritual cornerstone throughout my life, even when I didn't live life as a Christiaan should. My grandfather was a man of few words. I will forever love and respect this man of God. I learn that the older I get the fewer words that are truly needed to give and/or get what is needed. So, in-turn today Greg's message was one that was well said. "GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!"

Proverbs 17:27 NLT - A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even-tempered.

Proverbs 18:2 NLT - Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.

Father today help us to grasp the understanding or your heart for each of us and show us how to love on all those around us through our prayer and know that you always answer. Today, tomorrow, or whenever, but know that you answer always. In the holy precious beautiful amazing humble and prayerful name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!

Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life. He ultimately gave up His own life for you. He chose to allow man to take His life to save you. So, today remember his birth and plz don’t forget His sacrifice. This is the day you received the ultimate gift that could never be replaced. The gift that will eternally shape your life. You choose!

Yield

Good morning family it’s such a blessing to get the opportunity to speak with you all on this beautifully brisk day today. Tho it is a bit cold outside this should serve as a reminder to lean into the warmth of God’s presence on days such as today. We start this by lending into His presence. Yielding to His will for our lives and not our own. How do we know His will you ask? His Word! Simple as that! We study His Word to show ourselves approved.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV - 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 NLT 15 Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

I believe that yeildedness is a must for us that walks the path of Christlikeness. The start of yielding is knowledge, knowledge of the Word and how we need to follow Christ Jesus. We need not get caught up into the knowledge of the world and be led astray.

Romans 6:13 KJV Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:13 NLT 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:16 KJV 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:16 NLT 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

Romans 6:19 KJV - I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Romans 6:19 NLT - 19 Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy.

I write these scriptures because there is no better explanation of the Word more than the Word itself. I place the KJV for what most of us have heard most of our lives and I place the NLT to get a better understanding of our way of thinking in today’s world with our current grammar.

My brothers in Christ and I have been in the discussions of being obedient to the calling on our lives and to continually be yielded in the moment. As we lean into the understanding of Holy Spirit’s guidance and leading we grow in faith, hope and love in our everyday lives. The more we follow with obedience the more we become sanctified and begin to live in holiness.

I ask today are you living in obedience?

Are you being yielded to the moment by moment call upon your life?

Are you fed the knowledge of the world or the knowledge of the Word?

What are you feeding your spirit?

Sin or Christlikeness?

Father in Heaven help us to follow Christ’s leading. Father help us to be obedient and yielded in ever singular moment as you call us. Father help show us how to feed the Word to our spirit and not feed the world to our flesh. Father help us deny our flesh and feed only our spirit your Word. We ask all in the holy precious beautiful amazing gracious name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

Give and Receive

Good morning family, it is so very good to speak with you all this absolutely beautiful day. A little cool out but truly gorgeous. Isn’t God’s creation so divine! I have been spending a lot of time in the woods lately among His greater more expansive creations. This is one of the reasons I absolutely love hunting season. I love it because it’s a way to have the alone time we all must have. If we aren’t taking the time to have this then we are in trouble in some ways. I can increase the whole rest of my life by having that alone time with my Father by being in the woods with Him. Yes, I do have to have my heart and head in the direction of Him first. I must put my focus on Him with intent. Just as we do in our prayer closets or our secret places or our prayer time, no matter where it’s spent. We all need to be filled with His presence, it’s a must for our Spiritual survival.

Ephesians 3:19-21

"To be filled with the fullness of God is to be conscious of and yielded to God's presence, strength, care for others, spiritual authority, moral excellence and character (holiness, righteousness, love)"

Galatians 5:22-23

"The characteristics of a believer who is filled with or guided by the Holy Spirit is that they manifest the fruitage of the spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control"

Philippians 4:8

"Fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable"

This fullness is a mind altering, flesh battling, spirit filling, soul saving must for anyone who chooses eternal abundant life with Christ. We are all called to walk as Jesus.

1 John 2:3-6

3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love [2] is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

We are to set out to walk like Jesus and Jesus started out by walking to others. He gave! He gave of His time, His knowledge, His understanding, His love, His compassion, His joy, His peace, His patience, His goodness, His faithfulness, His mildness, His self-control. All the fruits of the Spirit just flowed freely from Christ as He interacted and walked with anyone, God fearing or not the fruits of the Spirit just flowed from Him. No matter where we are at church or at the store or at a local football game, we must do our part to walk as Christ.  The mentality “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” is truly one of the most deceitful of statements we would ever ascribe too. We look at this statement or just hear it and we know its completely wrong, immoral, self-serving, evil, or just plan simply demonic. Unfortunately, the world is ascribing to this type of mentality to do whatever one wants with no regards for consequences, or even more the belief that that there are no consequences because we believe we left it where it happened and didn’t bring it with us. Where is Jesus here? How did what you did affect others? Was one of those others Jesus’s followers?

Matthew 25:40

40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, (A)inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

My whole thought today was to talk about giving and only being able to do so through receiving. Whatever we are filled with is all we can give. There is multiple scripture references here as well. We are all called out to serve as Jesus serves. Giving is a must to be as Jesus.

Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This is our calling once we turn our lives and desires over to Christ. Yes, we have our own personal desires, but I have found the more I grow and mature in Him the more that my desires are minute or no longer desirable. I find that my desires truly align with the Fathers. I think of the prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Luke 22:42-43 -

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

I think about every time I needed strength in the call upon my life that as I gave it to the Father, He has always sent me strength that I didn’t have within me alone. I may not have seen that angel out rightly, but I can tell you this He was there. We all must come to the realization that Christ is always there to strengthen us just as He promised. Lean on that! We may need to do the hard things first before we realize it, but He is there. For me it always seems I have to bump my head if you will, and finally realize I must determinately give it to the Father. The more outwardly the more vocal the more indisputable I give it to Him, the more peace, and the more clearly, I feel his presence, and know His angel(s) is with me.

Luke 6:37-38 -

37 (BE)“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. (BF)Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 (BG)Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your (BH)bosom. For (BI)with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Know that through all your struggles, the strength that you need, is always there, you just need to give the struggle over to the Father first. His strength is your strength, you must rely on that promise. As we are weak He is strong. I love that from the little children’s song. There is a multitude of truth in those lyrics that you must come to receive, but you only receive by giving. You receive strength by giving your battle to the father. You receive blessings by blessing others. The more abundantly you bless the more abundantly you will be blessed.

Father in the Holy precious name of your son Christ Jesus I ask that you give us the strength to lean on you as needed and give to others more abundantly than we are able too on our own. I ask that you give us strength to abide in you in all areas we are called too. I receive your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control all the fruits of the Spirit as you bless me with them. In the wonderful amazing gracious merciful humble selfless name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!
