Good morning family it’s such a pleasure to get the opportunity to speak with you all again this week. I’m led to speak about our path and our decisions. Not just our life long decisions but our moment by moment decisions. Out daily paths, our minute by minute paths. How are you walking? Is the light of your life on?
John 8:12 - Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 - If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
Jesus said,
John 9:4-5 - We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”
I use these scriptures and these next pictures as an example. Are you looking in life with the light of Jesus on or is He simply turned off at times?

We each make the decision second by second, minute by minute, day by day, year after year. Do we walk with the Light of the World (Jesus) on or off in us? Walking with the Light on makes it so much easier to see where we are going, it makes it possible for the Father to be glorified. With Jesus light on in us it not only lights the path of our own walking but we help to light the paths of those we are around. Just like pastor Troy said yesterday about receiving the corporate anointing while at church rather than being alone. There is power in the gathering of the Father’s Light. WE ARE THAT LIGHT!
John 11:9-10 - Jesus replied, “There are twelve hours of daylight every day. During the day people can walk safely. They can see because they have the light of this world. But at night there is danger of stumbling because they have no light.”
We must grasp the knowledge of the kingdom and see we don’t need the light of the world to see but only the light of Jesus. We need to receive the light of Christ and reject the light of the world. As Lazarus died in this world he could only be risen by Jesus. Without Jesus there truly is no light there is no life, the is only death, only Jesus can raise you up. Where is God? ON OR OFF? YOU CHOOSE!
Father help me to never reject your light in my life each and every second, minute, hour, year after year. I know I can’t see it from a worldly perspective, but I know from your Word, I need you. I need your light to light my path. I need the light of other believers to help me say lite. You are the way, the truth, and the life. Help me to continually keep my eyes on you! In the Holy precious amazing wonderful loving name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

Derramy, the "light" analogy is so telling. The difference I have seen between light and darkness can be summed up well by my toes... When I walk through a room in the dark, toes beware!
