God with Us!

Good morning my Loving family. I so cherish the opportunity to get to talk with each of you as often as I can. I was truly blessed to get to see most all of you this Sunday in Church. I am so thankful for each of you. I find myself today thinking on how the disciples lived in these next few days after the resurrection of Jesus. He was there and He walked with them in all they did. The Holy Spirit hadn't descended yet but was getting ready. I think on us and our continually thinking we need to get ready. We certainly don't we need to STAY ready. Yes, STAY ready for the leading and the infilling of Holy Spirit in every single thing we do. I'm reminded in the most perilous of times we are seeking God, Jesus, Holy Spirit to help us, but we don't need the help He does. He needs us to let go and Let Him. We tend to get in the way, in Oh, so many ways. We just don't wanna let go. We think we need Him and yes we do. We need to not just receive Him but remain with Him. We tend to get filled with Him at our convenience and though the turmoil of this broken world we lose out, and become drained. We need to stay with a continual in-filling with Holy Spirit. This all makes me think on Paul and all he endured for the kingdom of God, He was beat, stoned. ship wrecked, etc.. etc.. I think on the viper that bit him when he was ship wrecked on the Island of Malta.

Acts 28:3-5 - 3 Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. 4 When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.” 5 But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.

This is just as the world is to us today, speaking death upon us without knowing who resides with us. Paul lived with Jesus with him in all he did and everywhere he went. He maintained an infilling with Jesus in all he was. We must look to how Paul did this, and live with a continual infilling of Holy Spirit in all we do, think, and say. Remember what Mary and Joseph named their son.

Matthew 1:23 - 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[g] (which means “God with us”).

This should be a continual reminder and confirmation that Jesus, God, Holy Spirit is forever and always with us. God with us! Yes, he is always with us, when we are seeking Him out He is there. We need to get clear on this, just as Peter was when he stepped out of the boat all was great until what? He took his eyes off Jesus, Yes Jesus is always right there but we must keep our eyes on Him. His love and eyes are continually fixed on us since before we were formed in our mothers wombs. We just get caught up in the daily routine and actions of those around us and find that we need Him and yes we do! So look up and fix your eyes on Him, He is right there!

Please Pray this with me:

Father I think you for your gift and your love so deeply of me that you gave your son. Thank you Jesus for your love as the Father loves and the obedience to His will for you to be sacrificed for me. Thank you Holy Spirit for your continual infilling of your presence and continual love that you bestow on me. I ask that you continually show me the way to look up and see you in all situation and keep me from ever straying away from you in any situation. I ask that you always nudge me to your presence even though I know your there this ol' flesh soon forgets from time to time. Thank you for the grace and mercy that you have bestowed upon me and continue to do so, I ask that you will help show me how to give that grace and mercy to every single person I encounter. I ask to always see you in me and all I am. I ask all this in the beautiful precious amazing blessed gracious humble miraculous name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!
